In December 2013, Yunnan Bohao Biotechnology signed the Haematococcus Pluvialis algae culture technology development contract with Institute of Hydrobiology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, aimed to co-develop the Haematococcus Pluvialis algae culture program.
In October 2014, Through asset reorganization, Yunnan Bohao was separated into two companies, Yunnan Bohao and Yunnan Boxin, to establish a unified management and sub-business module management business model.
In December 2014, Yunnan Boxin Biotech Co.,Ltd was officially registered in Qujing Economic and Technological Development Zone and became a business entity with independent legal personality. Registered capital: RMB 41.8074 million, legal representative: Bai Laoliu.
In April 2015, the phase 1 project (Pilot test base) was built, and produced the first batch of Haematococcus Pluvialis powder.
In September 2016, the company’s Workers Union was established.
In July 2017, Yunnan Bohao recapitalized and officially sent 11 workers to Yunnan Boxin Biotech Co.,Ltd. Yunnan Boxin’s Party Branch office was established in August.
In January 2018, Yunnan Boxin passed the the ISO9001:2015 standard Quality Management System certification. And the Wholly-owned subsidiary Qujing Runsheng Biotech Co.,Ltd was established in May. Yunnan Boxin was rated as Yunnan Provincial level Technological Small and Medium-sized Enterprises by the Department of Science and Technology of Yunnan Province in October 2018.
In December 2019, Yunnan Boxin signed the send phase of cooperation with the Institute of Aquatic Sciences, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and continued its technological cooperation.
In September 2020, 200mu of Haematococcus Pluvialis algae culture base, the phase 2 project’s facilities construction project completed and put into trial production. At the meantime, its Qujing Runsheng Biotech Co.,Ltd was officially renamed as Yunnan Boxin-Runsheng Biotech Co.,Ltd. Another wholly-owned subsidiary, Yunnan Boxin-Zaoye Biotech Co.,Ltd was officially registered in October. National Haematoccocus Pluvialis Seed Resource Bank and its Seed Selection Demonstration Base was unveiled and established in Yunnan Boxin Biotech Co.,Ltd. In the same month, Boxin won the first prize of the 2020 China Innovative Method Competition in Yunnan Division.
In February. 2021, Yunnan Boxin’s Haematococcus Pluvialis culturing base and production lines have been rated as “Green Food Brand Industry Base by the Building a world-class "Green Food Brand" work leading group office of Yunnan province. Yunnan Boxin was recognized as the first batch of Leading Cooperation in Agriculture Industry County-level in December.
In January 2022, the Pingbian County government and Yunnan Boxin Biotech Co.,Ltd signed Pingbian County Natural Astaxanthin Production and Procession Project Investment Agreement. Yunnan Boxin was recognized as the The sixteenth batch of agricultural industrialization municipal key leading enterprises.
In February, Yunnan Boxin was recognized as New Growth Enterprises, Municipal level Key Leading Enterprise of Agricultural Industrialization by the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Yunnan Province.
In March, the company passed the food industry enterprise integrity management system certification for the first time.
In June, the company signed the third phase of cooperation agreement with the Institute of Hydrobiology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, continues to work on technical cooperation. At the same time, 60mu of Haematococcus Pluvialis algae culture base, the phase 3 project’s facilities construction project completed and put into trial production.
In August, the company was recognized as "Yunnan Province Intellectual Property Advantage Enterprise" by Yunnan Provincial Administration of Market Supervision; in the same month, Pingbian Boxin Bio-technology Co.,Ltd was registered.
In October, the company was recognized as "High and New Technology Enterprise" by Yunnan Provincial Department of Science and Technology, Yunnan Provincial Department of Finance and Yunnan Provincial Taxation Bureau of State Administration of Taxation.
In November, the company was recorded by the Yunnan Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security as "Yunnan Boxin Biotechn Co., Ltd. Song Lirong Expert Grassroots Scientific Research Workstation", and in the same month, it was recognized as "Qujing High-value Intellectual Property Cultivation Pilot Enterprise" by Qujing Market Supervision Administration.
